1990 dodge caravan
I have a 1990 dodge caravan vin. no.2B4FK25K5LR721156 the driver's side front wheel bearing needs to be replaced.I have removed the brake unit and the brake rotor.The bearing is in a hub with a splined shaft thru it.Behind the hub is a round metal plate with 3 bolts that are inverted into the hub assy.My question is How do you take this thing apart to change the bearing?

I have a Haynes manual out in my car that might take in the year you have. Should I get it out and see? Don't care to do if you've already figured it out or asked somebody. That is like when a worker the other day asked me if I had this tool and I went out to my vehicle to get it and when I got back in he had already got it. Ooooooh....

Didn't you bother to click on Mike's link? That was very nice of him to go thru that effort and it is very detailed with pics. Check it out. See if those do not apply to you and if you can see what you need to see. Then report back.

Yes it did come up for me.You are right,very good information and pictures to follow.I'm in the process of taking this thing apart.Thank you for the help.
