Our 2003 ford focus check engine light has been on for a couple of days. I took the car to Advance Auto and they plugged it up with their OBD checker. It coded: P0705 Transmission Range Sensor, circuit malfunction (PRNDL input). We have noticed that the car has not been shifting out smoothly. It is an automatic, by the way. Any one know much about this sensor, such as possible costs involved, part + labor? I am taking it to a transmission guy tomorrow. He is very well respected in the area and suppose to be very reasonable on his prices. Hopefully it will not be too costly, being we are so close to Christmas.

89 Ford Festiva, carbed, 5 speed, 114k I went down to check my fluids this afternoon and found my cooling system low. I added a 50/50 mix and discovered a leak as I was pouring the mix in, It was leaking almost as fast as I was pouring it in, about a quart a minute. The leak wound up on the back of the oil pan about a few inches behind a drain plug. I looked in my workshop manual for this car but couldn't find much in the way of exploded views. The leak is under the water pump but I;ve never seen a water pump leak like that and by the time I could get it on a ramp it became dark. Anyone have a suggestion or know where I can get an exploded drawing of my system. I can't find anything on the net. Thanks
