Squeaky clutch pedal

2001 Nissan Maxima, 170k miles, just had clutch slave cylinder replace, and now the clutch pedal squeaks when engaging/disengaging. Does something simply need to be oiled/greased or is there a more serious problme?

The pivot for the clutch pedal itself would be the first place to look and lube.

But since you've just had the slave replaced, it could be a squeak coming up from that cylinder. If so, it may work itself out the more you use it.

Hope this helps,

Bob
