fuel pump change`

i have an 86 truck with duel tanks do to engine cahange i need to switch from a michanical pump to electric . any one tell me what i will neen to acomplish this task

P1870 code on 2002 trooper isuzu

My Isuzu Trooper recently started flashing a check transmision light and when I pulled the code it read P1870 which I have found out means transmission component slipping. I have researched this a little and come up with a couple or more different answers. One is a faulty torque converter, another is a bad alternator or electrical connection, also I have seen as much as replace the transmission! Is there a way to narrow this down before it costs an arm and a leg?

2 barrel to 4 barrel change

I have a 68 Ford LTD hardtop 4 door with a 390 big block. The 390 currently has a 2 barrel carb on it. My intention is to rebuild the motor and I want to go to a 4 barrel carb. I know I'll be swapping the carb and intake. Is there something else I need to do for the swap? What size 4 barrel should I get? Gas mileage isn't a concern. I've thought about changing the bore and stroke to make it a 427 but think I want to stay with the 390.
