94 chevy truck no air out vents

I have just bought a 1994 chevrolet 1500 5.7 auto. The problem is that the air or heat doesnt blow out anywhere, the fan blows but the air doesnt come out like it should, it looks like the previous owner drilled a hole just under the heater core and air comes out there even if I block the hole no air comes out the vents. the cold to heat regulator is working, the flap that diverts the air is working it seems like something is blocking the path, and when I turn the key on or off there is something clicking in the fan area and if i hit the rec button it stops, any help would be useful, thanks

Sounds as if the ducting from the fan to the floor vents and dash vents has been either disconnected or torn (eaten by rats, etc.) The clicking is probably a leaf caught in the fan. When you go to recirculate, the door closes on the leaf and it doesn't flutter. To check the ducting to the dash, remove the glove box door and innards. You will be able to see the main duct and determine if it is in good shape or not.

Got it fixed the inside a/c coils were comepletly covered with what looks like dog hair, and the clicking was the flap for the fresh/rec air is broken.
