Smile 2001 Grand Caravan Headlight Issue

Hello! I have a question for you on my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan:

Headlights- I replaced both bulbs- but the lights are screwed up...

when van is on- but lights are “off”: only the left “daytime” (lowpower) headlight is on

when van is on and Lights are “on”; only right “full power” headlight is on- left is totally off

when van is on and lights are on “highbeam” only left light is on highbeam and right is totally off.

any thoughts on what to check and how to check? I checked fuses and they all seem fine..maybe a computer issue??

Sounds like a faulty daytime running lights module/IDM.

There are several things that could be wrong with your vehicle. First, be sure you have the correct bulbs installed and installed correctly. Did this problem occur after installing the bulbs?
The headlamps run through the Front Control module which is attached to the Integrated Power Module (IPM) under the hood.
The headlamp switch runs through the Body Control Module (BCM) under the dash.
Most likely if you determine that it is not bulbs then you will need to take it to a dealer to have it diagnosed because of the modules in the circuitry. These modules are impossible to diagnose without the factory scan tool.
Hope this helps ya,
