Window Regulator for Pontiac Grand Prix 2000

Hello,

Where can I buy an affordable Window Regulator for Pontiac Grand Prix 2000? Also, how can I tel if it is a correct part for the car? I ask this because I was told by a Pepboy's service person, that this is a "GM (Pontiac) dealer original part" therefore it has to be ordered from GM. Of course the price quote was around $400, so I am looking for something that is cheaper. Does what the service person said make sense or was I lied to?

Any ideas?

Check around at a few more auto parts stores. I know that NAPA sells them for the GM trucks. If no luck, try a salvage yard.
