97 escort battery light
from time to time my battery light comes on i have checked alt output under a load and without ok, belt new, tensioner good, battery and connections good, is it possible that i have a ground problem. Thanks for the help!

Always a possibility; check and clean connections at battery and main and engine grounds.
When does the light go on: at idle or running down the road? How old is battery? If more than 3 years, could be on its way out.

Do you have a tach? -I- do. On my car, rpm's can get low once in a while while idling at stop light and I seee my alt gauge go way down. Then goes back up to normal after I get going again. Just a thought.
