Do you have the four banger or the V6 ?
I owned a '93, and did something in this area.If the '03 is the same as the older one, then you will discover some really innovative design.
But you must be an advanced DIY. No pics can I transmit..
If VW Vortex is half as good as Saab Central you may find some good details and pics.. IMO, the VW TDI club is pretty good.
Do you have a Diesel ???
How do you know for certain that the t-stat is shot ??

Answer to your question

I have the V6 GLX model. No diesel. I am not sure what the problem is but i was thinking thermostat first. When the heat is on, full air comes out but it is cool air. The temperture gauge is fine but 2 weeks ago, prior to any problems, the temperture dropped for about 10 minutes and then went back to normal and has been fine ever since. Any suggestions? Thanks
