1999 cougar idles rough
My 1999 cougar 6cyl. has began to idle from 2000 to 900rpm's then it will die. If I keep the idle around 2000 for 3-5 minutes then it will idle out at 900, but is still rough. The car is not driven over 50 miles a week, and it has seem to have got worse since the weather has change of cold. What advice can you give me on what the problem may be?...Thank you

Going to need a little more info.
Do you have a check engine light? If so, we need the code.
Possible repair:
IAC valve
plug wires
plugged air filter
bad injectors
So get the codes from autozone so you or we don't have to guess and waste a pile of $$$
