Hyundai Tiburon Question
Hello everybody,
New Member here, Online for the first time.
Have a question about a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon: How the heck do you replace the taillight bulb? I spent about 30 minutes in my carport in Sunny Florida yesterday trying to figure this out.
Please don't tell me this is one of those Dealer Only things...Help !!!

Usually you have to remove some carpeting from the back of the trunk area. With the carpet pull back, there should be some fastners, usually wing nuts, that you unscrew and the whole light assembly pulls out.

Thanks, Mark, but no; there's no easy access from within the trunk area. I think I need to hear from somebody who actually owns a 2003 Tiburon and who has actually replaced a taillight bulb; ain't no "usually" anything about this particular job.

Your owners manual does not address how to replace it? It should be in all owners manuals listed under, "maintenance".
I'm pretty sure though you have to remove some plastic panels from the trunk.
Actually finding someone on here who owns the same year Tiburon is probably gonna be tough.

I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but obviously it has to come apart. Once you get to the backside of the housing itself, the back has to either snap off or possibly it's held in with small screws or bolts. Only so many ways it can come apart. It's possible the entire assembly has to come out in order to access the bulbs, but I don't think that would be likely.
