Daytime Running lights

hey wheeler, yer s10 has daytime running lights. the only way i know would be to see if there is a seperate fuse (i doubt it), or possibly you could find the relay that brings the lights to the DRL briteness and unplug it. no expert here, just too much free time..lol

You may have to apply the PARKING brake first and then start the engine to keep the lights off. That is how my car works.

DRL's

Hey Guys,
Very interesting, I tried it with the car I have that has DRL's, and the slightest movement of the P-brake turned 'em off. Tho they won't stay off as soon as I release it. Tried it engine off, engine on. Don't really care if they stay on, its just interesting that they're even interlinked.

Any explanation why its designed that way?

Thanks
