OK MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS!!!!!!!! I AM WORKING THE PICKUP THE REAR END . I NEEED TO TAKE OUT THE THRID MENBER ,THE PUMPKING IN IS A POSI , 4 SPIDER OK THE TALL BRACE SKINNY ONE.TWO PINS LEFT IN THE THIRD MEMNER , HOWDO YOU GET THEM OUT OF THERE SO I CAN 4 SPRIDERS OUT!!!!!

Why are you working on the rear end? Are you let's say trying to put in 411 gears?, or did something burn up or let loose due to gear oil leaking out? Just curious.
I have heard that working on rear ends is trickier than some people realize, to get everything right.

The governor mechanism requires a special tool to remove it. That is what I have always used, as it was an essential tool for the dealership. I have never taken one out without using this tool. If no one here can give you an idea on how else to get it out, take the carrier assembly to a GM truck dealer and see if they can do you a favor and pop it out for you.
