Unhappy tranny quit pulling 95 honda del sol

driving on the road , car quit pulling . like it jumped out of gear . after pulling off the road i could put car in every gear without clutching . higher gears make grinding noise . quick fix ???? or tranny problems ?????

Sounds like your clutch is a goner; how many miles on the beast?

96,000 miles are on the car

Depending on how hard you are on the clutch, I think 100,000 miles is about average.

Turned out it was the drive axle . The ring clip had slipped and the axle slipped out just enough to dissengage.

Had you recently had the axles replaced? Normally that's the time this is most likely to happen.
