1992 Ford Probe GL has heat problems

I replaced the Thermostat , car maintains a 192 degrees engine temperature. CAr has absolutly no heat. blower motor works fine , but only blows cold air. Car does have ac, but temp level is slid all the way over to hot. Ran the car for over 2 hours , still no heat. Blew out the heater core as the car sat for a year. Any suggestions.

Problem with the blend/mixer door in the ductwork. May be vacuum operated and have a bad actuator or if cable-operated, broken or disconnected cable.

The cable is fine and you can hear the door switching back and fourth. When you move it from fresh air to recycled. Vaccum is fine on it. Water is circulating throughout the whole car as well.

You sound pretty handy. Trouble is, it really is impossible to have the water circulating 192 degree temp water completely "throughout the whole car", and have blend door working, and no heat.

One of those 3 things is NOT happening.

Ok, is it even possible to replace the blend door? Do they make it anymore? My husband thinks it may be the ECM Valve. Could that be possible.
