We had our break pads and rotors replaced last week as well as all 4 tires changed ahead of a long trip. Once on the road a few days later, I had to break in a panic - a few minutes later the ABS light came on. It stayed on for the last 4 hours of the trip. The next day it was on again for a 30 minute drive. On the way back it turned off and has been off for the last few days.
Do I need to be concerned as we have another long trip ahead of us in a couple of days?
The car is a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
Thanks in advance for your help.

There are many things that can cause the ABS light to turn on. It is quite important to have it looked at asap due to the fact that if there is a failure in the ABS system your ABS system may not function properly in the event of an accident. The light most likely came on because of the ABS stop you made and required a couple of key cycles and or trips to reset. It may be ok, but I would still recommend getting it looked at asap.
Hope this helps ya,
