Installing a auto remote starter

Tips and pointers wanted
Car is a 1999 Intrepic 2.7 automatic
Remote starter is a CT-5000 called a "Pro Start" from Canadian Tire
I am just opening the box now and going to take a look at it

I am looking for any past experience and pointers from people that have installed them before

OK
Thanks
I am fairly technical oriented
Sounds like no horror stories yet
So far I can understand the directions.
One step says that I need at least 1.8 volts AC and 1.5 HZ at idle and it can be got from the neg side of a coil or neg side of an injector or .......
I think I will try the neg side of one of my coils. I have a meter that reads AC volts and reads frequency so that I can verify the specs. My Haynes repair manual dont tell me the outputs.

Thanks for the input so far
