How do I remove the heater core in a 1999 chevy silverado
This one has me stumped, I've been a mechanic for 18 yrs. and I cannot figure out the simplest way to remove the heator core. I know where it is of course, but its a 7 hour job, anyone know an easy way? Besides bypassing?

There is no easy way.
You gotta dismantel half or all the dash board, remove the airbox, and drain the coolant for starters.
It's not a fun job.
Is it leaking or is it clogged? You can try and flush it out.
