gmc 1/2 ton rear axle bearings
what is the easiest way to remove rear axle bearings in a gmc 1/2 ton pickup/ slidehammer ? then how to install

Yes, slidehammer them out. To reinstall, you need something just about the same outer diameter of the bearing assembly that will not brake when you hit it with a hammer a few times while driving the bearing in place.
