2000 Astrovan headlight problem

Wife's van with DRL lights. Headlights stopped coming on, all other running lights OK. Checked fuses underhood, they OK. I assume the headlight relay in the under the hood fuse box is malfunctioned. Is this something I can easily replace and what else might cause the malfunction.
Thanks,
Oldgolfer

silly as it sounds, but are the light bulbs good? just make sure you don't touch them with bare fingers, halogens don't like it.

I have not checked the bulbs yet. It is hard for me to believe that both would burn out at the same time.
I assume that the relay in the under hood panel can just be replaced by plugging in another.

The lights probably went out one at a time. The problem is that most people don't notice one but when the second one goes - wow it's dark out.

Use the KISS principle - keep it simple sir. Replace one bulb and if that side lights then replace the other side.
