A cavalier and a ford are two completely different vehicles!
Why would you want to do this?
There's no way of making it look.......well....good, there's nothing normal looking about this setup, but you would have apply more fiberglass to the cut area.

Well, I won;t comment on the Vauxhall/Escort situation; to each their own but hotinOKC has it right with the fix.
You will need to learn some basic fiberglass work and use that to rebuild the parts as needed.
I actually used to work in 'glass shops so I can help you a bit there. it's been awhile but that nasty stuff is semething you never forget.
I believe HotinOKC may be able to help as well due to his employment but not sure. Carbon fiber is a bit different to work wiht and uses epoxy rather than polyester or vinylester resins but (basic) form building is the same for each.
