01 Chrysler Voyager heater blower motor
Hello,
The heater/AC blower motor in my '01 Chrysler Voyager only works on the highest setting. I read in a past post that this may be the heater resistor, and that the resistor should be located under the glove box. Why would the motor only work on the highest setting? Does this van have two blower motors, and maybe one is not working? Does this sound like it is the resistor, and if so where would I get one, local parts store, or would this be a dealer only item? Any and all help/advise is appreciated.
Thank you,
Rich Inzana

Yes it does sound like the heater resistor stack. The resistors reduce power to give you the lower speed settings. When they go bad, which is not uncommon, the stack defaults to the high speed setting. Call your local parts store first, but you may need to get a replacement from a dealer.
