93 Ford Aerostar won't start when it rains. HELP!

My van won't start only when it's rained. This must be a common problem because I have seen this same problem in Fords, posted on other sites which require payment to see the answer. Can anyone out there help me?

Let's start with basics; when you say won't start do you mean it will turn over but not fire or won't turn over at all?

I had a simiular problem, and it ended up being a cracked distribitor cap.

Old post but ....They are bad for drawing moisture. On a dry day, after you've had it started and everything is dry spray the entire ignition system with ignition sealer. You can get it from any auto parts store. That usually takes care of it.

99 cavalier headlight problem

I have a 99 cavalier 2.2L. The headlight assembly on the passenger side of the car is very dim. There is two bulbs in the assembly. These two bulbs are for the daytime lamps, high beam and low beam. Anyway, The lights will come on, but they are very dim. Also, if you take one of the bulbs out the other will not light at all. This is not the case with the side that is working. I Checked the connections, they were all good. I was thinking it was just a ground, so I exposed some wire on the ground of the light and grounded it straight to the battery. No good. the light got a little brighter but not like it should. I am going to get a wiring diagram form a dealer, but was wondering if you had an idea? thanksRead More
