Engine wont intake fuel and dies while driving on freeway at a stop light or going 35 down the road.....runs great in nuetral...thinking it might be a fuel filter. Need suggestions or ideas....maybe injectors, carborator not sure if it would be cheaper to get a new car

If it's a carbureted engine could be either fuel filter or carburetor float; more likely the filter. Most older Toys have a sight glass in the side of the carb. Next time it dies, pull over and check the sight glass; you'll probably see the fuel level well below normal or maybe not at all. Proper level will be right in the center of the sightglass.
