HELP 94 Chev.Blzr Starter Removal

Help please what are the steps to removing a starter? disconnect battery, then what? My daughter is attempting to remove her starter from blazer. I know nothing of mechanics but she wants to do this.

 

94 Chevy Blazer my daughter got the starter out and down to the A.Zone and they say starter tests fine, might be the cables. AAAHHHhhhhhh so how do we get cables out? now to replace cables

To give you an idea of how important a question the above is; do you realize that in some instances with vehicles, that say, if you hear a loud click, and the engine does not even rotate, that it could be something like coolant in the cylinder that is preventing the vehicle from turning over? Or several other things, besides starter or 'cables'.

That is why further description and history of the vehicles problem is really needed. I wouldn't be just going replacing stuff without proper diagnosis. Who wants to try to worm cables out of the possible maze of how they routed it(them) if not needed?
