please help "Buick le Sabre"

I replaced the front brake pads on my daughters 2000 Buick le sabre and had no problem but it seems on the rear i'm not able to get the cylinder to push back using a clamp. After checking on here i find out that it screws in. What do i need to get it in and is it something i can do since i am already working on it. Does it have to be pushed in and turned at the same time or just turned, also does it turn to left or right. thanks to anyone...Oren

It "should" turn clockwise into the caliper. Autozone has a tool for this that you can borrow.

It doesn't take that much pressure while turning the piston.
