cat. converter
95 gmc jimmy 4dr. 210000mi. 4x4 6cyl. Truck has California emmissons ,cat. is bad needs replacement. Can I install a federal emisson cat,or does it have to be a Cali. converter. I live in New England. 3000miles away. Thanks in advanced

Any cat converter that is approved for your make and model will do, check with a reputable mufler shop, they know which kind is the one for your vehicle.

Thank you for quick reply. I was doing just that but I wanted some good imput [as this sight does so often] so would not get ripped off on spending money any more money as needed. Thanks again
