Side mirror vibration

Driver side mirror vibrates and distorts images. Happened after having car washed by idiot. Can I get behind the mirror part without taking the whole thing off? This will require taking the door panel off, right?

Is it power or cable remote ?

the IDIOT probably broke the little plastic clip that holds the mirror. i think there are two- one for right and left, and one for up an down. i'm pretty sure the whole mirror will have to come off and, yes, the door panel.sorry!
