The blower motor resistor is corroded and needs to be replaced, more than likely. These are known to corrode and have been redesigned on certain GM vehicles.
my son has a 2wd 1996 auto ,4.3v6engine blazer.there is a roar coming from his back wheels when you turn them,i noticed that when i put on his brake shoes.i have a haynes repair manual, but i find no-where how you replace the rear wheel barons.don't you have to pull out the shaft from the differential.if so i need to know how to pull it out also.thanks any help would be appreciated.
My wife's spare tire has a cut in it, and should be replaced. Sears has a sale this week, so I thought I'd get a replacement there, but the tread on the spare will not match the tread on the other tires. If this was the full-time tire the tread mismatch would cause handling problems, but since this is the spare, and would be used only once in a while for just a few miles, is that a problem? An acceptable risk?
Thanks!
