I have a 1986 Buick Electra, 4 door and I want to replace the head liner material.
How does the molding around the doors come off. I don't see any screws and I don't want to break anything.

Pretty likely that they just pop off; probably held on by plastic push-in fasteners on the backside. Having said that I would be REAL careful removing the first piece; sometimes the automotive engineers cook up some pretty kooky ways of attaching things.

I would say your best bet is to get the factory service manual or a hanes...but I am not sure if a hanes would show how to remove it.
If it is those plastic fastners, be sure to have plenty of extra's on hand when you are replacing them as they can break easily. That is one of those things you can get from the stealership for cheap too.
