Tahoe-No Reverse
I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 and it wont go in reverse. But it goes forward in all speeds of 4 wheel drive there is no problem there it just wont go in reverse all of a sudden.
Also it revees forward from first to second gear but shifts fine in all other gears. The trans fluid is fine there are no leaks.
Can you give me some ideas of what it could be.

It just sounds like your tranny is on its way out. You said it work fine in 4-wheel drive ,does it work fine in 2wd? Have you been doing any 4-wheelin over rough terrain? I dont think it will be a linkage problem. Your best bet is probally to take it to local trans shop and let them do a diagnostic check on it, then you can decide how to go about fixing it.
