Leaking Antifreeze
Recently had a new water pump put on and now I notice when I start the car (94 ford taurus) that there's a slow leak of fluid (antifreeze) but when i'm driving for a while there's not leak.....
also, here in the midwest it's been cold and then one day it was in the 50's. on this day i was out doing alot of stop and go traffic the rear wheel was smoking. it seemed like it was the brake caliper stuck. It has not done it since then though. ....but then again it has not been above freezing either.
Any help with these two issues would be appreciated.

On the antifreeze leak, where is the leak from? If it shows around the area of the water pump, it would be either a faulty part or an installation issue. If it was a shop that installed the replacement pump, I would take it back to them. If it was yourself or "free" labor, you may have to redo it.
As for your rear wheel smoking, was it wet with snow or water when it was smoking. That's pretty normal. The steam was probably coming from the tire since they will warm up and give the appearance they're smoking as the snow melts on them.
I would drive it as you normally do, then stop and check the hub of all wheels. They should all feel about the same. If one is hotter than the others, that brake or wheel bearing needs attention.
Hope this helps,
Bob
