removal & repaint rubber spoiler
1990 Acura white, rear spoiler on top of trunk white also.
Want to remove all cracked and peeling paint off spoiler, best/easiest/cheapest way?
Want to repaint by rattle can. Does not have to be perfect job. Found "bumper paint" that comes in black. Will that work? Have not tried auto body supply stores yet...expect that to be expensive and most likely not in rattle can.

The bumper paint merely has an additive in it to make it slightly flexible. You can use the automotive-type spray paint in cans for a basic paint job on it. Depending on how bad the existing paint is you can either sand it or chemically strip it. If it's more than sanding will cure I would remove it from the car and chemically strip it, then lightly sand, prime and paint.
For a higher quality paint, I've used these guys before:

Pretty good instruction on how-to also.
