heater core 94 buick tips pls

I need to see if there is an easier way to get the core leads thru the firewall other than trial and error.My error has cost me 6 hours today trying to get the new core thru the firewall.Any ideas , tips would be great .thank you for your time

Wow. You had quite the day. I dont understand the problem but I never done a 94 Buick
I have a 92 Lesabre'
Anyhow
I guess the problem is feeding the core inlet and outlet pipes back thru the fire wall.
How about if you fed thru line from the out side to the inside where you could tape the lines to the inlet and outlets of the core. Tape the line to the core in the shape of cones so that when the tips go in then the cone will slide right in to the holes. You will need a helper for this. Sort of like fishing electric wire thru the walls of a house.
If I misunderstood the problem I appologize.

You hit the nail one the head.the inlet pipes has 3 diffrent angles to thread through the fire wall.The space allowed for this is limited.Thanks for the tip ,I will give fishing line a try.Iwill post later to let ya ll know if it works.Hopefully not 6 hours from now.Again thanks Jeff
