'95 Mazda Millenia Chk Engine

I am looking to purchase a 95 Millenia and want to get some opinions? Does anyone know of any long standing issues with the year and model?

It does have a check engine light on, I will be scanning it soon (it appears to be ODBII compliant).

Thanks

OBD II was required beginning Jan 1 1996. cars built prior to that, 94, 95...that had a 16 pin DLC under the dash appear to be OBD II. they were prototypical for the most part as manufacturers were trying second generation stuff on for size. if you look under the hood at the emissions label or wherever Mazda puts their emission certification, that car is probably certified OBD I. that means that you may or may not get all of the OBD II info and stuff with a scan tool...because they did NOT have to comply with the new standards at the time of manufacturer.

this doesn't mean that the car is a bad car or anything like that...just that the electronics may not conform as you might think because it has the 16 pin DLC. I call 1995 the ******* year...
