Question Weak brake peddle

I have a 1976 Dodge pick-up. After sitting for several months, starts right up but brake peddle is almost to the floor and squisshy .
Master cylinder needed fluid. After filing , still same condition.
Can the vacuum booster or the master cylinder be bad. What is the correct way to bleed the brakes ? Thanks everyone !

wow, where to start. Could be a lot of problems.

could be most anything EXCEPT the vacuum booster.

how low was the m/c?

you have a leak

You have a leak need to fix that first. Not the booster possible master cyl or wheel cylinders. You can bleed it but it will do no good unless you fix that unsafe leak.
I bleed from the farthest wheel and go in to next fartest and so on.

Cool

as already stated, find and fix the leak. then bleed the master cyl. first. then r/r wheel, left rear wheel, r/f wheel, then left front( check fluid after and during each wheel). if you deplete the m/c while bleeding, you will be startin over.
