"HELP" Broken Hood Cable-Need to Open It
Hello and thanks. I have a 2000 Chev. S-10 and the hood latch is broke on the inside. Any advice for opening the hood from the outside and making the repair will be greatly appreciated. Have a great day.

If you can reach through the grill with a pair of pliers then you MIGHT be able to grab the latch that way and tug it away. I know it works on older cars, but not sure about the 2k S-10.
