02 ford 150 headlight switch
The knob on my headlight switch broke off was wondering how to remove knob off of another switch still in diff truck I found at autowreckers tried pulling the knob off, but it won't move

If the shaft of your switch where knob came off is triangular in shape, there is a small clip, at the back of the knob, triangular in shape also,that wedges in against the shaft, to keep it there. You have to take a small screwdriver or similar, and put it behind the knob, and push toward front of the knob, and pull knob off at same time. It might take a little fiddling, but try it on all 3 sides of the shaft, if you can't see the clip.

It is easy to how to remove knob off in your headlights, when order a new one there will be a manual included and it easy to follow.
