94 Camry door lock / unlock issue, PLEASE

94 Camry door lock / unlock issue, PLEASE
My car is 94 Camry V6 LE, with power lock and power window. It is kind of weird that:
1. I can unlock the driver side door from outside, but can NOT lock it.
2. I can lock the passenger side door from outside, but can NOT unlock it.
3. I can both lock and unlock the doors inside the car using power door switch.
When I tried to lock doors through driver side door or unlock doors through passenger side door from outside, the key seems stuck inside the key hole. Any idea what is wrong?

i am presuming that you are talking about lock/unlock using key only? the camry DOES have a keyless entry pad right? is this car new to YOU on have you had it a while? try resetting the lock/unlock code and see if that helps. a little lubricant in the key lock may help. never heard of this PARTICULAR kind of problem before. good luck. someone will respond shortly with a better answer. let us know how it goes!

That is a wierd one. I don't think that Camry will have a keypad, ours didn't. I don't know if any of those functions go through a computer or not, but as a long shot you might try disconnecting & reconnecting the battery. Maybe just a worn key? Have you tried a different key?

Yes, I was talking about lock / unlock the door using key. I've been driving this car for 5 years, and am pretty sure it worked before. But some day, for some how, it didn't. This car doesn't have a keyless entry pad, or remote control.
Since I can unlock the driver side door from outside, and lock all doors before I leave the car, I didn't pay much attention to it before. Now I found this forum, and am thinking I might not be the first person having such kind of issue.
