Mercury Villager Wiper Problem

The Wipers On My 1996 Villager Work On The Intermittent Cycle But Will Not Function Most Of The Time On The High Or Low Switch Positions. Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

Sounds like a bad switch.

Sacrificial material for rusty cars?

Like how water heaters have anode rods to sacrifice rather than the tank. Or how a penny layed by a battery post is supposed to corrode, rather than the posts/terminals - is there some kind of material, special paint, strap, or ? where the rust/corrosion will gravitate to IT, rather than to keep eating away at your car? I remember cars years ago where I saw straps hanging down from them to the ground but cannot recall if that was their function. I saw these things on cars that were those boat-size cars that were labeled as pimpmobiles that also might have curb feelers on them also. Anybody have any insight into this?Read More

cold air intake

I just recently bought a 96 Pontiac Sunfire DOHC 2.4L 2 door with 118,000. Is it true that a cold air intake will mess up the engine. or was the person that told me this really hard on the car. When i bought the car that is all that came with it was the cold air intake not the stock one. P.S. i already relized the engine that is in it.Read More
