1985 Dodge Caravan L4 2.6L

Is there a L4 that will go in place of the 2.6L, say like a 2.4 or 2.5L without changing the transmission and drive unit and that uses a different carb. Perfer Dodge ect. motor.

In a word.......NO....

The 2.6 is a Completely "Mitsubishi" built 4 cylinder......Complete with the transmission from What I believe was a Galant. No Chrysler corporation motor shares the bellhousing bolt pattern.....

a very experienced technician with excellent fabrication skills can make those kinds of things happen...your van isn't worth the time and expense a project like that would take. there would be a hundred issues or more to solve with something like that.
