Question 93 jeep cherokee neutral safety switch

i need step by step instructions to remove this swith, or eliminate it altogether, hehe.
93 jeep cherokee, straight 6, automatic tranny

If it's like my '90 cherokee, the switch is hard to get to you'll either need to get the jeep up high enough so you can get to it or pull the tranny

well, it is called a neutral "safety" switch...defeating it may not be a wise choice.

do not defeat the neutral safety switch, if you did and had an accident you would be liable for all kinds of grief. If it is bad replace it.

I know on the 97 models, you can clip one of the wires coming off one of the transmission connections. Sorry, don't know which one.
