A/C & heater switch only one level

Hello!
I have a 2002 Buick Century and the other day when I turned the switch to put on the A/C it only worked on the 'high' setting. Please tell me this isn't an expensive fix and what the problem is?

Thank much!

Sounds like the resistor pack. It's usually located behind the dash near the fan housing. It will have a bunch of wires going to it. "Should" only be around $20-30 for the part.

right side lower dash above the passenger foot well area next to the blower. 1-7mm screw...you should be able to see where it's failed if you remove it. they are a common failure item...oh yeah...it's a 7 terminal connector.

+1 on the resistor pack, that's your problem. On some models like Oldsmobiles they have them in the bottom of the duct up against the floorplan/firewall, on those the rear hole on the replacement is usually slotted for easier reinstall. They're not fun to get out, getting to that back screw is tough. I'm not saying yours is like this but be prepared.
