99 Grand Am, Trac Off, Abs light and engine code P1665 purge valve P1676 vent

1999 Pontiac Grand Am Coupe Se
V6 3.4l
130,000 miles
Trac off light on dash when car is started,
Abs light on dash when car is started
Code P1665 purge valve
Code P1676 vent valve

When the car is started the trac of light and abs light come on the dash and stay on, the car is still in park at this time.
Also I have scanned the car for codes and the two codes are P1665 and P1676. Any help with troubleshooting this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

it seems odd to have codes for both the purge and vent solenoids...the common thing is probably power. have you checked fuses yet? the trac off light is on because the ABS is not operating. perhaps they are all related...you need more than a code scanner to retrieve the specific codes for the traction control system and ABS. code scanners just do OBD II and only what the federal gov't says the car makers have to share...most of them reserve a bunch of proprietary stuff that you need a real scanner for.

I have not checked the fuses yet. I looked in the haynes repair manual in the wiring schematic and looks like the same fuse is used for both vent valve and purge valve. I agree the common thing is probably power. I will check fuse and get back to you. Thanks

Do you think I could have a faulty ignition switch since I have numerous problems? Could a faulty gas cap cause the purge and vent valve errors?
