A/C No Cool
Oldsmobile 1997/88. A/C does not cool.
Heater, blower, A/C light on dash works. Compressor clutch does NOT engage. Cannot find fuse, all fuses I can see look good but directory is missing so not sure which one it is. Have hose/gage that came with 134 can, it reads a little over 20 when connected.
Any suggestions, thanks

You cannot get a accurate reading from that hose that came with the can of 134a. The compressor needs to be running as well.
There are many things that can cause no A/C.
Can you jumper the A/C relay to see if the compressor will turn on?
Could be the AC clutch, switch, etc.

if it realy is only 20psi the low pressure cut out will not let it engage you would have to jumper around it. that will tell you if the clutch is working, check for battery voltage at the lowpressure cut out. you should get it leak checked if it is low. post back if the compressor does engage after jumping.
do not run it low on freon for more than a couple of minutes as it will ruin the compressor. it needs the freon to move the lubricating oil around the system.
