I'd like to know how to replace the air filter in a '94 Nissan Altima. I understand it's easy, but I want to be sure. Thanks.
Thank you, Tow Guy!

I can give it to you in general terms.
First, buy your replacement filter; any good parts store brand is fine (CarQuest, NAPA, etc). This will give you an idea what size housing will be involved.
Now locate the air intake ducting on the engine. Start where the throttle cable is connected and work away from the engine. Will likely be a black plastic or rubber duct about 3" in diameter. Follow that until you come to a boxy plastic structure; that will be the filter housing. There are several ways the housing cover comes off to access the filter element. Very often it is 2 or 4 spring clips. Some use large screws or wingnut-type fasteners. Pop off the spring clips or loosen the screws/wingnuts and separate the two halves of the housing. The filter element should be clearly visible and easy to change out. Some sit horizontally and you lift the top up to get access, others sit vertically and you separate the halves side to side.
