On the '07 Camry, this is the procedure: Turn the key on and set the odometer to the trip A position. Turn key off, Push in and hold the trip reset button while turning the key back on. After about 6 seconds you should see a message advising that the feature has reset. Release the button and turn off the key.

On the '04 Camry, the procedure is similar except you do the hold down and key on routine with the odometer in the normal setting.

Hopefully Toyota used one of these on your RAV 4.

My '06 Toyota Tacoma..... hold down the trip odometer while turning the key to ON. You will see bars in the odometer and they will cound down one at a time until they're all gone... you're done!
