Transmission Fluid '00 Ford Windstar

I have a 2000 ford windstar and I cannot find where to add transmission fluid to it. Can anyone please help?

Just pour it down the dipstick tube.

Like to add pour it down the transmission dipstick hole not engine oil. Use a funnel.

If you cant find the dipstick, you have no buisness adding fluid to the unit.......Overfilling these units is just as bad, if not worse ,than running them dry.

Some Ford products are "Factory -Fill " units, in which case there will not be a Dipstick. I dont know for sure but 2000 seems a bit early for this type of setup.

Look under the hood, drivers side... At the transmission. You should see a "Black Pipe" about 3/4" in diameter. Follow it up and you will see the Handle for the dipstick. (Usually a YELLOW "RING".)

Infiniti I30 (97) serpentine belt

I cannot find much about the process on the net, but it does not look too hard, just a pain to remove the wheel well to get to the belts. Any resources that may help? Would a Maxima manual help? The rest is a vent, so ignore as you see fit :) Here is a perfect example of a shop trying to take advantage of a woman (foriegn student to boot). She brings it to a mechanic for the state inspection, she fails for brakes and tries to tell her an all wheel brake job will cost at least $400, probably more. He also tells her the serpentine belt is bad, that will cost over $800 (which would figure about 10 or so hours labor if I calculate correctly), and a CV joint is going bad, another 2K. When I called, he refused to give me his estimates and would not put it in writing for her. I did check and replace the brakes (including a lug stud he cross threaded during the inspection). I would like to tackle the belts, but do not want to bite off more than I can chew. Have a great day!Read More

1993 Cadillac Seville--Looking for help on relay location

I have a 1993 Cad Seville STS 4.9L that won't start. Everything else is fine, and I'm going through the Haynes schematic with my multimeter. Right now would like to test the "Starter Enable Relay." I'm in the fuse/relay compartment on the left side of the engine compartment, but none of the relays listed on the guide underneath the cover are called the "Starter Enable Relay" or seem to have anything to do with the ignition system? Is this relay located elsewhere? Also, would very much welcome an easy way to test continuity across the Park/Neutral Position Switch. Thank you all in advance! WillRead More
