I purchased a used Delphi 6552 A/C compressor to replace a HR6HE compressor for a 1991 Buick Park Avenue. I bought it with no warranty. Mine was mounted on the car at the time.They are exactly alike other than where the hoses hook up on the back of the compressor. The original HR6HE has 2 o-ring seals. The Delphi is definitely different The seals must definitely not be the same. I have never seen the ones on the Delphi. One would definitely be a flat one. Are these compressors compatible? Can I make the Delphi work with the hoses on the car even though it requires different seals? Thanks!

Have a 86 Ford 350 van with a 460ci carbed engine.8 out 10 times going up hills I hear a tapping noise,going on level road no tapping. Was told it could be a lifter (changed them about 20,000 miles ago with new milen), also told it could be a exhaust manifold leak ( say they sound the same). I think it could even be low octane gas (at this price use the lowest). any suggestions on have narrow it down . Thanks
