Question 91 sentra brake shoes

How do you replace brake shoes&what tools are required?

No special tools are absolutely necessary. The job can be completed with a pair of needle nose pliers, a screwdriver and maybe a pair of regular slip joint pliers. Disassemble one side at a time so that you can use the opposite side as a reference. Remove springs and clips one at a time and reinstall with new shoes in place.

Safety notes:

Ensure car is properly supported.
Wear certified eye protection (I had a Grandfather who lost an eye long, long time ago from a flying brake shoe spring)
